tiffany & gary are a couple after our own heart.

much like them, our favourite getaway spot for the ultimate rest, relaxation & romance is the irresistibly dreamy, niagara-on-the-lake, ontario. braden & i love niagara-on-the-lake so much we frequent the area year-round to ensure we keep a wonderful work & love balance and to dream of someday soon living there. we simply love it when our couples share our same life passions.

during this intimate niagara-on-the-lake sunset engagement session, tiffany & gary described to me that The Grand Victorian is one of their favourite B&Bs to weekend escape to because of it’s charm, history, and proximity to some of the best wineries and restaurants in the area, and i couldn’t agree more. the intoxicating smell of a burning fireplace that just feels like home, the inviting conservatory area that gets the most incredible sunlight, the cinematic pure white verandah with forest green shutters, the wide spiraling oak staircase…we fell in love with it too!

but most memorable of all was just how easily these two sweetly slipped into the romance of it all. their chemistry and synchronicity was so beautiful to capture. i get asked all the time how do i bring out our couples’ incredible connection and so much emotion in our sunset sessions and one of the biggest tips i can give is to simply remember to focus on each other and the love you are celebrating and the whole journey you’ve been on together leading up to this sweet moment. and i promise what you get is so much love and magic.

as we head into the end of this year and the beginning of an exciting new one, i can’t think of a better time for us all to be reflective, grateful, and ever-present.
