Oh, what a whirlwind summer it has been! With traveling nearly every weekend for work this summer, it has been a while since I’ve been able to sit down & thoughtfully pen out all of the incredible moments that have happened.
One of this seasons highlights was being able to donate some of my time for the Pop Up Chapel at the Drake Devonshire in Prince Edward County, where couples can elope in the most intimate, sweet, low-stress way with the added bonus that a portion of their contributions go towards the charity, Photographers Without Borders. A cause after my own heart!
I can’t even begin to tell you how much this day fed my soul. There are certain places that just feel like summer, there are certain people that just feel like love, and there are certain moments that simply feel serendipitous. Like when I see this sweet couple, with giggles and so much love radiating, and it just feels like there is nowhere else in the world worth being. And when they asked me to be one of their witnesses, I truly couldn’t have felt more honoured. My heart simply melted!
I simply couldn’t get enough of this view! Vibrant wildflowers, fresh lavender, lemonade stands, homemade pies, lawn games, bicycles with tin cans, and the most breathtaking lakeside backdrop. Afterwards, we snuck off to their private sailboat for an extra special, midday celebratory session!
Congratulations again, Jonathan & Andrew! And thank you to all the incredible vendors that helped make the day absolutely perfect!
