there is something simply magical about the love story between anastasia + david. having met working together during university, it seemed like a fateful chance meeting. she tells me “we immediately clicked, we were crushing hard on each other… from our first date on, we were inseparable for the rest of that summer, totally smitten…”. today, their love is 6 years strong.

i met up with these adventurous two at a secret location, in this incredibly intimate + peacefully beautiful pond. the kelly green rowboats, the quiet waters and the rustic dock gave off a cozy, romantic feeling. with otis redding + sam smith softly playing in the background, these two were absolutely smitten with each other – i was simply there to document it all. it wasn’t long before storm clouds started to roll in, and with child-like enthusiasm, they ran down the dock and embraced under the rain.

this day was all the things that i am + all the things i want to photograph in people. raw. happy. intimate. in the moment. simple.
