Sassafraz can accommodate up to 150 seated guests in its main dining room, or 200 for a standing reception. For ceremonies, the combined private dining rooms can seat up to 80 guests, with additional standing room for cocktails. 

Yes, many couples choose to have their ceremony in the private dining rooms upstairs, followed by the reception in the main dining area downstairs. This setup offers convenience and a seamless flow for guests. 



Sassafraz boasts a romantic and elegant interior, featuring a living garden wall with live orchids and greenery, providing a stunning backdrop for weddings year-round. Many couples find that minimal additional decor is needed due to the venue's inherent beauty. 

While Sassafraz doesn’t offer on-site parking, there are plenty of nearby parking options, including paid lots and street parking. The venue is also easily accessible by public transit, and many guests opt to use rideshare services.
