Fall might just be the dreamiest season of them all. There are no words to describe how much I loved this unforgettable day! Grace and Trevor are two of the loveliest, smiley-est people I have ever known, Just like their genuinely warm and easy-going selves, their Old Mill wedding was a relaxed, fun-filled day – more like a party, than a wedding. The Old Mill wedding venue is filled with lots of hidden spots for photos; a gorgeous ceremony location, and a wonderful big old hall with fat wooden floorboards for your reception and lots of intricate and historical architecture. It was an absolute honour to witness their beautiful celebration and to capture their dream wedding come to life.
Combined with the vintage feel of the historic Old Mill, fall was the inspiration behind this dreamy bohemian luxe wedding sprinkled with luxurious rose gold, copper, and jewel tones. I fell in love with how all the small details of the bride’s beautifully beaded wedding gown to the romantic, dreamy wedding reception decor came together as one magnificent celebration at Toronto’s iconic boutique hotel.
For Grace & Trevor, the Old Mill also holds a deeply sentimental tradition – both of their parents were married here as well. It was with this profoundly romantic notion that made this wedding so full of heart.
Some of my most favourite moments on a wedding day are almost always from my time with the Bride and Groom! These romantic portraits of just the two of you will be the photographs that you frame beside your bed or over your mantle and they will also be the photographs that will fill your album for generations to enjoy. These photographs are close to my heart not only because of their beauty and timelessness but because this is such a sweet portion of the day for my couples. For this brief moment in time, you will be alone with your forever love on your wedding day. You will have a chance to love each other and really connect before the craziness begins! For Grace and Trevor, I loved how they made each other laugh. You can definitely see how deeply in love these two are by looking at their glowing smiles and loving gazes. My heart simply melts when my couples are adventurously up for anything + are so smitten in love!
Grace and Trevor, thank you so much for making me a part of your day. It is weddings like this, where everything just aligns so perfectly, that make my heart soar.
