Michelina and Mike’s intimate Toronto elopement took my breath away. So much heart and thoughtfulness went into this day, and more importantly so much love and sweet moments too. Intimate elopements make my heart swoon. My couples get to be more present, everything moves at a much more purposeful, graceful pace, every person feels extra special, every detail feels meticulously thoughtful, and every emotion is felt fully. Days full of love, friendship, sweetness and intentionality like these ones make my heart explode. Intimate weddings are just so beautifully tender and are always my all-time favourite days.
Throughout the whole day, the warm sun filled the studio space at Lovt Studio in Toronto, casting a golden glow over the happy couple as they exchanged their vows and made their first kiss as husband and wife. The studio’s white walls and luscious greenery and floral arrangements provided the perfect backdrop for their sweetly elegant ceremony.
That is one of the beautiful things about intimate elopements. Couples that choose to have one often do so because they want their commitment to be about each other and their love, and they often find that a small ceremony allows them to focus on the true meaning of their lifelong commitment. The whole experience feels deeply enriched and wonderfully meaningful.
As the day drew to a close, the couple enjoyed a sweetly intimate, romantic Italian dinner, prepared and privately catered by their favourite restaurant, Sugo. I love when a couple pairs their passion for food with sentimental value to their day. They toasted to their love and happiness, knowing that they had made the perfect choice in eloping at Lovt Studio, where their special day had been made even more beautiful by the warmth and light of the sun.
